What is the frequency of the Ideal Sports Week?

It's true that regular exercise should be done at least 30 minutes every day to keep your body healthy. But exercise every day instead of benchmark standard for legitimate exercise two or three times a week.

What is the frequency of the Ideal Sports Week?

Said the new study, the frequency of exercise is flexible depending on the objectives to be achieved. In a study published in the journal Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism, is mentioned, no matter how often you exercise in a week as long as it achieved a total time of 150 minutes.

The researchers analyzed a sample of 2,324 Canadian adults are active in sports. These respondents participated in the Canadian Health Measures Survey. They average exercise at least 150 minutes per week, both moderate to severe intensity exercise.

Most people divide the total time in the five to seven times the exercise sessions, while there is also a one-time exercise to four times a week.

Both groups of respondents that have a risk of metabolic syndrome, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high blood sugar levels.

But it turns out people who exercise with a total time of 150 minutes per week is the most healthy. This is because the total time, type, and intensity of activity is more influential than the frequency of exercise for the body.

So, is it better to exercise one time with a duration of 2.5 hours and then in the other day did not need to exercise? It was not well.

According to lead researcher, Ian Janssen from the School of Kinesiology and Health Study from Queens University, Canada, actually okay enough exercise two or three times a week, but regular exercise in a short duration was not hurt.

After all, sport is too long in duration but only one or two times a week may not be able to help us reach the target fitness, for example, to lose weight or want to follow the race run. For this purpose shall exercise routinely done in a shorter duration.
